Unless the press gets wind of something that it deems newsworthy, generally the press does not come to you; you go to the press. A news release and even story pitch need to be sent. Then, you hope it’s compelling enough for the press to want to cover it.

After hearing from so many of you, it’s obvious that much, much hard work and research has been done!
Many great ideas, too, so thank you!
It seems that with so many of us saying similar needs, has the press been involved with the Diabetes Action of the NFB.
Numbers do talk!
I don’t want to step on anyone’s feet, as far as the positions held of this NFB group and being unaware of past situations, but what if local and national press coverage was made aware of our present problem of non-accessible pumps?
