[Diabetes-Talk] FW: I agree. The press, the media and more

I hear you, Dianna. I'm glad I got the nerve to give the Omnipod a try because I do know that terror you speak of. I was diagnosed in 1988 and for those first three years, I just couldn't get anything close to decent control. In 1991, when I went on my first pump, within six weeks my A1C went from 13 down to 7 and I'd cut my insulin dosage in half. Hard to believe I am coming close to 30 years on an insulin pump. And I have been totally blind all my life. Maybe when Covid is finally sorted out, we find some big conference and organize a flash mob there. <grin.>
Take care and know you're part of a good-sized group.

I have used pump ever since they became user friendly; before any vision problems. It has made life so much more flexible! I can, with a magnifying glass, still use my 630 pump. I am terrified of having to give up my pump though I know that day is coming! I really hope someone designs one manageable for blind and low vision diabetics! Diana cook
