[Diabetes-Talk] Dexcom app update.

No, I've not had this problem since doing the update. Yes, I get the app is
being tested message from time to time, but you just swipe to the clear
button. But I've been getting this message for years now with Dexcom.
Otherwise, fingers crossed, no other issues. With the current Dexcom update,
I have discovered logging past data is slightly different when in-putting
the time. It used to be simpler, and it's a little tedious now. So, if you
don't log something immediately, you have to deal with this, but once you
know how to do it, it's fine.

Sorry you're experiencing problems. Personally, I have not, but it's
frustrating when these things happen.

Hi everyone.
I was wondering if any of you have done the update to version 1.8 like I
just did. What a mess! It said that it supported the iOS 14 widget and some
other stuff that I didn't want. Well, on my phone, because of Dexcom, I'm
still running 13.7. So with the new update, what pops up first? Okay, the
dialog about what's new. The close button didn't close the dialog until I
closed the app and came back in for the fourth time. Then, oh look! Warning!
Dexcom is in the process of testing this app with the latest version, etc.
Wait a minute! If I am running 13.7 and you work with 14, umm, what am I
missing? I spent the next 20 minutes trying to escape the stupid warning.
They've also changed their web site too. It used to be so easy to go on and
find out which devices and software were compatible with the latest app, but
boy, not any more. Every time you go there, first choose your country, then
your language. Then you choose the type of device and go a couple more
layers down. I never did find the place where it would tell me the latest
version of iOS it would work with.
I'm rather disappointed with the loss of the ease of getting information.
And boy am I sick of that stupid warning!
Anyway, just wondering if any of you had similar experiences. Oh, I have an
iPhone 7.
Thanks a bunch.
Veronica
