Hi Veronica,
I got the update to Dexcom G6 on the 21st. I have not noticed any issues outside of the usual ones that you’ve mentioned. On many ocasions I have found that clearing one of the Dexcom messages like testing the app takes several attempts at pressing the Okay or continue button. And, sometimes, even though I tap it I think it just take several seconds for it to clear and refresh the screen. These things have happened for a while and I forget when exactly I started seeing them.
I think many issues have to do with Apple’s upgrade to v 14.x that in my opinion has made getting tasks more complicated. I am using an IPhone 10 with the most recent update to ios.
Sorry I can’t be of more help.

Hi everyone.
I was wondering if any of you have done the update to version 1.8 like I
just did. What a mess! It said that it supported the iOS 14 widget and some
other stuff that I didn't want. Well, on my phone, because of Dexcom, I'm
still running 13.7. So with the new update, what pops up first? Okay, the
dialog about what's new. The close button didn't close the dialog until I
closed the app and came back in for the fourth time. Then, oh look! Warning!
Dexcom is in the process of testing this app with the latest version, etc.
Wait a minute! If I am running 13.7 and you work with 14, umm, what am I
missing? I spent the next 20 minutes trying to escape the stupid warning.
They've also changed their web site too. It used to be so easy to go on and
find out which devices and software were compatible with the latest app, but
boy, not any more. Every time you go there, first choose your country, then
your language. Then you choose the type of device and go a couple more
layers down. I never did find the place where it would tell me the latest
version of iOS it would work with.
I'm rather disappointed with the loss of the ease of getting information.
And boy am I sick of that stupid warning!
Anyway, just wondering if any of you had similar experiences. Oh, I have an
iPhone 7.
Thanks a bunch.
