Hello All:

If you are experiencing the problem of not being able to find a button, here is one suggestion that has worked for me ...

1. Do a double toap at the very top of the screen;

2. Then with a three finger swipefrom the bottom of the screen swipe up;

3. Single swipe from the top of the screen to the right until you come to brightness and if it is showing zero, single finger swipe up to a level of 30-40 and that should solve most of the problems.

Worst comes to worst, turn the device off and then reboot the device.

You may still have to check the screen brightness.

Hope this tip helps.

Milton

I am still running iOS 13.7 because Dexcom told me a few weeks ago that people were having a lot of connectivity problems running it on 14. Are usually end up waiting till about February to update to the latest operating system each year just because of the Dexcom app. I am using the Dexcom G6 version 1.8 and have not noticed any difference in how it works. Dexcom did tell me that the warning That they are in the process of testing the app is going to continue to show up on a regular basis because they say they are always testing the system. I do find that sometimes when the warning comes up and I flip to the right to find the continue button that voiceover will not read it and even a sighted person cannot tap on that continue button until I turn voiceover off. I have tried closing the app several times and sometimes that makes it work properly. I have a tiny bit of vision And have noticed that sometimes when that warning is up there and I’ll put my finger on the screen at that point that it actually reads me my blood sugar instead of reading the warning that’s usually when I have the trouble not being able to clear it. I also have Dexcom follow app on my phone which shows the graph and your blood sugar but does not allow you to do anything else however, I do not have any trouble clearing the warning from that app.
Did you try powering your phone completely off and then turning it back on again? I have found that this frequently helps apps to start responding properly again when nothing else seems to work.
