That’s not my part , I am following what the endo is reccomending to me. not
good education in the office as it relates to all these diabetic matters.i
don't get how these endos think we are all the same and we all eat at the
same time of the day . I guess I have to do some research and googling and
just decide to create my own carb to insulin ratio and adjust according to
the Libre.that is now making more sense .i was getting frustrated and
everytime I se him my a1c are all over the place from all the way from 6.3
to 7.4. So I don’t get it.i thought I was doing something wrong .but guess
I will create my own carb to insulin ratio and adjust according to meals
also taking into the correction factor for eating as well. Thanks for your
help and educating me even further . now off to figure all this out on my
own. Don’t worry I will be getting rid of the endo an looking for a new one
soon.

Gary,
There should be some sort of educator around. It just drives me crazy having
to constantly tell these supposed experts that we don't always eat exactly
the same things at exactly the same times. If you're doing rapid acting
insulin, you need to know what to do for meals of different sizes, snacks,
surprise parties or extra events, to say nothing of correcting high blood
sugar numbers. Not much point in having a continuous blood glucose monitor
if you don't have any idea how to respond to it. Bridgit's right. You need a
new endo, if indeed this is an endo.
They're getting paid to help you. Make 'em do it.

Yes that is correct. That is why I am trying to figure all this out on my
own till I ccan do some research for a new endo soon . I feeling his
approach will end up killing me instead of healing me.
