I assume you will be getting the Dexcom G6? it's incredibly easy. You will open the package that the sensor applicator is in. There is a knob on the top part, I called the shark fin. you want this part to be facing out. there are two plastic tabs that you will pull off the sensor. Remember, before pulling these off, get the four digit sensor code. You can scan this on your phone, or manually enter it. When you enter the sensor code, you will not have to calibrate daily. Pull these tabs off, and then place wherever on your abdomen you want it to be. Once you have it situated, that little shark fin, Gently push it down on one side, and it will come off. Once that is off, there's a little button there that you will push down on. That injects the sensor into your abdomen. Then you simply just pull the applicator away. Once the sensor is situated, he will place the transmitter into the sensor. Once that's done, it starts the sensor, and there will be a two hour warm-up. hope this makes sense :-)

I know injecting probably isn’t the right word but curious how this whole thing works. I understand how it sends the information to my iPhone but just want to know how to get everything set up being blind. If anyone can help that’s great. Thanks. Chad
