If you have the ID mate and scan items to find their bar codes, directions
and nutrition facts are there as well.

Horizons for the Blind has its directionsforme.com site. You can find
thousdands of food products with nutrition info. Also, the Seeing AI barcode
scanner works pretty well; it has quite a big database of products, and I
believe you can find nutrition info this way as well. The My Fitness Pal app
is rather accessible and can also provide nutrition info when you plug in a
food. It's easier to find nutrition info on prepackaged food. But with fresh
foods, you have to learn this. For example, a cup of rice has 40 grams of
carbs. A regular size apple, not these genetically modified ones most stores
have, is roughly 15 grams of carbs. 6 to 8 oz. yogurts have about 13 to 30
grams of carbs depending on brand and how much sugar is in it. It's good
info to know, especially for foods you eat frequently. Also, just Google it.
Most the time, you can find nutrition info simply by Googling a product or
food.

First of all, hi everyone! Long time, no talk, but I am back. For anyone who
doesn't know me, if you wish, I can do a post re-introducing myself.

Right out of the gate, though, I have a question. Does anyone know of a
good, accessible resource for nutrition information for Trader Joes
products? My A1C recently got really bad again so I am back to watching
calories, carbs etc. Can anyone help?
