Hi Sheila,

Your doctor managing your Diabetes might tell you where you should be
fasting. Before I had the Dexcom, I tested twice a day. Once fasting in
the morning, and once before dinner. For me, I was aiming to have a fasting
glucose between 100 and 130. Hope this helps. And congrats on getting your
A1C down.
Warmly,
Doula

Subject: [Diabetes-Talk] bringing down a1c numbers

Hi I went to my doctor yesterday an my numbers came down from 8.1 to 7.9 so
do you have any tips that help bring numbers down? also I know that normal
fasting numbers should be between 70 and 100 but what numbers are a
reasonable guideline for me to use since my numbers are above seven. I am
still new at all of this. thanks much. I t isn't my intention to ask dumb
questions.thanks in advance.
