For those of you who are so quick to judge the freestyle libre negatively even though you have not used it ever, please remember this. Many of us have used it successfully, with accurate readings in line with our finger sticks according to the information in the literature. And many of us would not qualify for Dexcom and certainly could not afford it if we vbought out of pocket because it is much more expensive. In the same way I should not judge the Dexcom because I have not used it. And much depends on what insurances will and will not cover. Both products have much merit and both are important in this market and we should be working together to keep both in the forefront and both on the market because both have their place.
