Hello everyone,

I hope you all are doing well. I have some questions regarding Ozempic,
for anyone here who has taken it, or who is taking it.

First of all, I think I have been taking Ozempic for about two years
now. I can't remember, exactly. Probably about a year ago, my dosage was
increased. From the time I started taking Ozempic, I had some problems
with it. For example, some nausea, and not feeling hungry. But I did my
best to try and deal with the symptoms. They weren't too bad, for the
most part.

Well, things got much worse for me. But I didn't realize it was all tied
to the Ozempic, until I missed my dose last Friday. You see, we had gone
to a concert the night before. So that next day, I got up later.
Everything was kind of thrown out of wack. I took my meds later. I
completely forgot to take the Ozempic. Then by the time I realized what
I had done, it was too late into the week, to take it.

But what clued me in to the fact that I had missed it, was to how much
better I was feeling. For at least a year now, maybe longer. I would
have to look at my notes, to be sure. I have been dealing with awful
stomach pain, and this tight feeling in my stomach. Sometimes, it would
be so bad, that it hurt to bend down. I also had pain in the right,
upper part of my stomach, and the pain would radiate into my back. It
all felt awful!

But, I have stomach issues. As well as degenerative disc disease, and
back pain, throughout my back. So it really just didn't occur to me that
all of this was related. Everything has changed, since I missed this
dose. I am loving it!

I am wanting to ask my diabetes specialist if I can go ahead and stop
taking this.

However, I know there are risks. Since I haven't taken it, I feel I am a
lot more hungry, more often. Also, when my blood sugars go up, they
remain higher for much longer. So I know that I will need to really
regulate my diet. Which I am trying hard to do, anyway.

But what I was wondering is, has anyone else here had similar issues
with Ozempic?

If so, what worked for you?

I know it can be different for everyone. I just really want to make the
most informed decision, as possible.

Also, what are the benefits of remaining on the Ozempic?

I don't want to give up this medication, to only go downhill. I have
worked really hard to get to where I am. So this does worry me.

What do you all think?

Any thoughts, or advice is much appreciated.

Thank you,

Terri
