Yes, Setting up the app did have its challenges and if you can arrange to do it when you have some sided help that would be great. I was able to just skip over some of the set up requirements as you can always change things in settings later. Once the app is set up the phone announces and reads your blood sugar results very easily and you do not need to use any of the other more complex features of the app if all you want to do is find out what your blood sugar is at any given time
