[Diabetes-Talk] re question about fast acting insulin

Hello I wa seeing my doctor this weke.i was given a new fast acting insuling

Lyumjev . i have just started it for two days now.  its a very fast acting
one.within 45 to 60 minutes of injection, i can have a balancing out effect
of  no more  highs. Unlike the humolog that i was   on for six months which
would ttake for ever  to  kick in and had to  do extra correction dozes in
order to  get the right glucos levels as i was looking at my cgm . Now after
using this for 2 days now the highs balance themselves  out very quickly
and that  way i am a bit happy. Don't know of any side effects as of yet.i
was started on the same doze that  i was on humolog at 4 units and was
advised to  adjust if things did not work as expected .   so far so
ggood.but do yoru own research onthis one. an aks your doctos about it.  who
knows this may for others as well as its worked for me.
