I do agree with you Milton.most people think that they have a cgm then
they don't have to worry about doing meter check as well from time to time.
That is how I know if my mete reading are accuratewith my cgm. If the isa
about a 5 to 10% difference I know ahteh cgm and the meter are in tune with
one another .but if ise ttahthe cmg and the mete are of by about 20% or more
hten I know hathe cgm is out of tune and needs ot be tuned to be accurate.

It has been found that the CGM's are not always acquarate so one needs to
check periodically and it is suggested that you calibrate the Dexcom every
time you change sensor and if you feel that the CGM is not giving you a
correct reading.
That is the best way to get the most acruate reading.
