That's true. I have been here a while and I have been type 2 since 2005. I
was on all kinds of pills all the way up to 2014, in 2014 I was placed on
insulin then after that I began with other helpful thingss and ever since
2018 my a1c has been under 7's and continue to get even better after my
last one which was 6.5. so I am getting there as well . Its been forums
like this and lots of reading an research , that ai have been able to get
there.when iwas diagnosed in 2005 my a1c was in the 9 to 11 range and I was
270 pounds , the doctors did not give me a chance. But after finding the
right one and have the right attitude and diet I was able to turn it around
in a matter of 16 years. And lost about 40 pounds now at 225 instead of
270 Still need to do better, and need to lose least that last 25 or so
pounds , as I was a big kid growing up, and so I would like to get under
200 pounds in the next year or so .
