[Diabetes-Talk] Dexcom G6 calibration alert/notification

This is not normal at all. In the 10 months that I have been using the G6 it has never once asked me for a calibration. If you cannot get it to function properly it is probably easiest just to put in a new sensor and start a new session. Alternatively you could probably get it to work by doing what I mentioned in a previous post and that is to stop the session, remove the transmitter from the sensor pod while it’s attached to your body, leave it off for 30 to 45 minutes and then start a new session with the correct code. To remove the transmitter from the sensor pod you take a test strip and press straight down between the transmitter and the pod where the rounded End meets the straight edge on both sides to release the little clips that hold the transmitter into the pod.

This has never been received prior and I did the calibration when I first set this new sensor and calibrated accordingly and successfully. Is this a new regular alert being put out by Dexcom or the Iphone app that allows the reading of one's glucose etc.?
