Don’t worry about it.i know what your  going through.i had to  go down the  same road  as you being on pills 8 or so years,   an then as soon as iwas switched over to  insulin  an was able ot ge what I needed. the libre will  at least bea good alternative then nothing at all.  I know that some of the list recommends dexcom.but with high cost of dexcom and supplies for dexcom,  insurance will not want to fund it compared to the alternativ freestyle libre. Until dexcom understands that and lowers its cost fore the dexcom cgm solution. Dexcom users an suppliers will be butting heads with bean counters at insurance providers and insurance adminstrators,    who will refuse to  fund the dexcom cgm due to  outlying costs versus the  alternatives like the freestyle libre.  As libre becomes even better  and more cheaper then dexcom , dexcom will realistically have to  figure something in order to  have bean counters at insurance , and receive insurance coverage.   This  is  my own personal experience dealing with insurance providers. I had an easier time with getting libre covered then I had with dexcom and had to cover out of pocket for dexcom which got very expensive over time.
