Its not that my endo does not want to do that, its the fact that my
stupid insurance in their way they have their stupid policies in place
that they wont fund it due to the fac that they keep on telling me its not
covered due to the fac that its a durable equipment proticle and that I
have to pay out of pocket for it if I really want to have the cgm. At close
to 900 for a three month supply of Dexcom g6, I cant afford that
compared to the libre which cost about 210 for a three month supply. I wish
that these cgm products wer affordable for those who did not have insurance
and had to pay out of pocket could afford them and that way had more
control over their diabetes management. Hoping the next gen cgm will be
more affordable, for all that g7 and what ever version of libre are
competitively priced so that the consumer has choice over the products if
they hav to pay out of pocket for them.
