It is the A and D medical it tells you when you have an irregular heart beat also if the cuff isn't tight enough.

Subject: [Diabetes-Talk] New to the list and seeking recommendations or experiences with talking blood pressure monitors

Hi all, my doctor recently categorize me as pre-diabetic or early diabetic, as my a 1C was six.0 over to three month consecutive periods. Earlier in life I had been hypoglycemic so apparently it’s common for that to turn over to diabetes as you age. Anyway, she would like me to purchase a talking blood pressure monitor. I have search the net far and wide and for the life of me I have no idea which one to pick. It seems impossible to find reviews or even ratings on the various talking blood pressure monitors on the market. Many of them don’t even seem to have brand names to identify them. They simply say talking blood pressure cuff or talking blood pressure meter or monitor. If anyone on this list has experience with talking blood pressure devices and wouldn’t mind sharing I would really appreciate it!
For now, she would simply like me to watch what I eat and lose weight plus exercise to bring down my A-1 C. To that end, if any of you can point me in the direction of some eating plans that are healthy for diabetic I would really appreciate it. All of this is very disorienting to me because I do not eat nor do I crave a lot of sugar. I’m not even a big fan of most sweets. But, as I have learned, that’s not really what this is about. :-) Thanks for anything you guys can offer.
