Hi, I found that if I laid the strip flat on my finger, then slid it toward the stick site that this almost always worked. Also make sure your finger is warm, and if you hang your hand down then shake it vigorously, your finger will have a better blood flow.

Subject: [Diabetes-Talk] using my prodedgy voice

Bern my name is sheila Leigland and I would like to know if you have tips for getting the blood on the prodedgy voice strips. I'm a type two but it is frustrating when trying to get enough blood and getting it on the strips. My insurance which is humana medicare doesn't cover cgm's or at least that is what the folks there told me last week. I won't mind finger sticks if I can actually learn to do it correctly.thank you for any advice you can give me.
