[Diabetes-Talk] using my prodedgy voice

Hello,

I have posted this suggestion before but being you are new, I will post it again.

If your hand/finger that you want to draw blood from is cold, you may want to run warm water over the finger/hand and use a rubbing motion from the base of your finger toward the tip.

It is also advised that your hand/finger is clean with no oil and/or hand lotion on it.

You can also try swinging your arm vigerously in an up and down motion to help blood circulation.

HTH!

Milton

Subject: [Diabetes-Talk] using my prodedgy voice

Bern my name is sheila Leigland and I would like to know if you have tips for getting the blood on the prodedgy voice strips. I'm a type two but it is frustrating when trying to get enough blood and getting it on the strips. My insurance which is humana medicare doesn't cover cgm's or at least that is what the folks there told me last week. I won't mind finger sticks if I can actually learn to do it correctly.thank you for any advice you can give me.
