[Diabetes-Talk] Lyumjev just approved by FDA for use in insulin pumps

I wish I could say that Bridgit.  When I am in extreme heat,
especially, for me, the bottom falls out.  My body reacts to the
extreme heat.  If I didn't know better, I would swear my pancreas had
hyperacusis.  When my husband and I went to Thailand to get our
daughter, It was so bad that I had to cut my novolog entirely by the
end of the trip because I was launching into lows day and night.
Sometimes within minutes.  Of course, in Thailand, it's about 115
degrees nearly every  day because of how close they are to the
Equator.  My biggest fear there was losing consciousness and a whole
busload of folks who would be trying to figure out what was wrong with
me and of course, none of us would understand each other.  I wouldn't
have a chance!!!
