This sounds very promising!  My son has his old Moto G Android phone that I
am going to test the app out on before buying myself a new one.  They are
inexpensive compared to the iPhones, so I plan to use it as the controller
if I switch.  I'm hopeful that either the Omnipod or Tandem will be fully
accessible for us soon.  It sounds like Omnipod might be the first to
accomplish this for us.

Okay, here's what I found on their web site.
The Omnipod® 5 App allows you to select a basal profile, target glucose and
bolus settings, activate and deactivate the Pod, connect with the Dexcom G6
Continuous Glucose Monitoring System, and select an insulin delivery mode.

I'm writing out my questions and am about to make a phone call. I have an
Iphone but honestly, I'd be willing to by an Android phone to use as a
controller instead of the PDM, if I can truly do that. I'll let you know
what happens.
