Those would be the same recommendations  I would dsay depending  on what
kind  of insurance you  have  or not as we don't know your situation.

Hi David!  Welcome to the mailing list.  There are several options for
monitoring your blood sugar.  There are two continuous glucose monitoring
systems, the Dexcom and the Libre.  You wear a sensor on your abdomen or
upper arm that continually checks your levels.  Both are accessible to the
blind via a mobile phone app.  

The other option is a blood glucose meter.  The Prodigy Voice and Clever
Choice are the two that are totally accessible for the blind.  I use the
Prodigy Voice to occasionally calibrate my Dexcom.  My pharmacist was able
to order it for me.  Just make sure you get the Prodigy Voice and not just
the Prodigy.  Both talk, but the Prodigy Voice is totally accessible.  Hope

i understand there are some machines one can use to check there sugar in a
daily bases. which one is recommended and how easy is its setup?
