[Diabetes-Talk] Dexcom G6 & IOS?

Hello All:

I'm not experiencing any real significant problems with updating to iOS 16.0. I first updated to iOS 15.7 then followed it by updating to iOS 16.0. Running and using an iPhone 11.

Will be receiving a new iPhone 14 Pro sometime today and will be updating the phone in the next day or so and I'll let you all know how it goes with my Dexcom G6.

One thing that I have been advised is that one should calibrate the Dexcom G6 every time one changes the sensor. It doesn't matter if you have a high reading when testing with your glucose meter but it is a good idea if you have a high reading that you also test and calibrate when you do have a low reading as well.

Hope this helps people using the Dexcom G6 and finding that you are having trouble using your iPhone or iPad running iOS 16.0

I also saw a note yesterday that Apple will be releasing a fix for 16 iOS sometime next week which hopefully fix some of the problems that people have been having when they updated their iOS to 16.0. Not sure what the version number will be for the iOS.

I downloaded IOS 16 a week ago and haven't had any trouble at all.
