Dar,

I only wear my Dexcom on my abdomen, but I know others have worn it elsewhere.  I always use the overlay patch to keep it safely adhered to me for the 10 days.  The adhesive would sometimes start to lift up and catch on my undies, so I just always use the patch.  Dexcom supplies them for free through tech support, but they only give you a pack of 10 and seemed to always be on back order or took forever to get to me.  I ordered a pack of 50 from Amazon that work just as well.  


Now that I've said this, I understand the Dexcom 7 comes with an overlay patch with each sensor.  The G6 that I am currently using doesn't.  I'm sure you will start on the G7 as a new user.

I hope to get the dexcom at the end of this month,  they will show me how to wear it. 
I was told i could wear it on the tummy How well does it stay on when you are wearing it!
