[Diabetes-Talk] What a pain Medicare is!!

I totally agree. I have been fighting to get a CGM as I cannot use fingersticks reliably. Apparently, I’m just not sick enough, as I’m not on insulin and don’t have blood sugar loves. I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. I can’t appeal a denial until a supplier sends my information to Medicare, and none of the suppliers will do it, because they know that Medicare will refuse. we really need to advocate for legislation on this. This is so backwards to the way it should be. Our health is compromised and we could be so much healthier and could decrease our use of funds if we had this technology available before we progressed to needing insulin.
