On the contour, it beeps when you’ve gotten the blood in right and it takes a very small amount. I find that if I hear two short beeps, it’s an error message and I need to start over. Then beeps when the results are available and the app starts talking. I have found with a recent update that it no longer automatically reads aloud the value, but all I have to do is swipe left or right to quickly get to the test result.
