Hi Joy,

Like you, I am also still using the Dexcom G6. Next year, 2024, I'll be
looking for a new insulin pump so please keep us all updated on how you make
out as a blind diabetic. I'm totally blind and live alone so can't rely on
any sighted assistance with pump use. Good luck with the Tandem.

Hi Veronica,
Thanks for sharing such exciting news! I am still using the Dexcom G6
because I am in the process of signing up for the Tandem Pump. So, with all
of these changes this will make it even easier for me to control my glucose
levels!

Warmly, Joy

Hi everyone.
As my sensor fell off this morning, I found myself on the phone with Dexcom
again. I did learn a couple of interesting things.
First, in October, they are supposed to have a major update to their app.
The guy didn't know if it specifically addressed the missing stop and
replace buttons that we don't have.
He also said that G7 would be compatible with the pumps which integrate with
Dexcom. He also said that they will be coming out with new overpatches in
October as well. Paws crossed.
And here's one more tidbit. If you need help figuring out how to do
something related to Dexcom, when you first call and get the robot, instead
of asking for technical support, you can ask for training and education.
They are there Monday through Friday from 6:00 am Pacific until 6:00 pm
Pacific. And yes, these people do know about VoiceOver. They knew about the
buttons that don't show. But it's a great place to go when you're learning
the Dexcom.
Veronica
