[Diabetes-Talk] difficulty getting Libre 3 Sensors

It may be a while before those sensors become widely available again. I
was told earlier by a friend who uses those sensors that those have to be
shipped in temperature controled conditions and when the shippers let
those sensors go out of the required temperature range the sensors get
ruined. Apparently a huge batch of those sensors got ruined and had a
quiet recall. This is not something the sensor manufacturers like to
admit which is the reason for the quiet recall.

The Wall Mart pharmacist I spoke with suggested the manufacturer may have a shortage of the components used to make the sensor, but he hasn't heard of them being on back order yet. Still, he only had a few when I called today, an my prescription won't be available until tomorrow.
