Hi AB,
One thing that may be happening is that you are dehydrated. I complained
about having to use a larger lancet so that I didn't stick myself and
cause bruises all the time when I was getting blood work once. The lady
taking my blood mentioned that it could be due to dehydration.
So, try getting more fluids and/or try using a lower gauge lancet. You
can purchase 26 and 28 gauge lancets at walmart for a very cheap price
if you want to just get a single box to try.
