I am using the Omnipod 5 with the iOS app. I have been using it in manual mode because it wasn't yet compatible with the Dexcom G7, although they're promising that in a couple of weeks. When I switched to the Omnipod in 2018, I didn't really think having a tubeless pump would be a big deal, as I'd worn pumps with tubing since 1991. But now that it's been 7 years, I have really come to lik not having the tubing. The iOS app is also really accessible. Just like with the Mobi, there are a few things that land in funny places on the screen, but it works well. The other thing I like is that you don't have to use Face ID as many times as you do with the Mobi. That is the one thing that is driving me crazy with these pumps which are controlled by smart phone. Some days it really makes me feel like diabetes runs my life because I wouldn't normally use it. It seems like it just takes so long to get in, by the time I try several times, then the phone jumps somewhere else when I'm trying to enter the pass code, etc. With the Omnipod, you have to use Face ID to get into the app, but not during any processes. I'm looking forward to switching to automated mode in a couple of weeks. I think it's fantastic that we actually have choices now.

Thanks! It is a challenge getting it to be in just the right place.
BTW, I switched from the Omnipod to the Mobi a month ago and really like =
it. My educator showed it to me and asked me to consider it since she =
really likes its algorithm much better. Tandem has done an amazing job =
making it totally accessible for us. =20

FYI,
I received today from Byram Healthcare part of my order of Mobi insulin =
pump=3D supplies and found a surprise package included. It is a thin =
plastic device=3D that snaps on over the wireless charging pad and has =
an indentation which h=3D elps center the pump in the correct location =
for charging And helps keep it f=3D rom sliding. This device will be =
particularly helpful to people who are blin=3D d or have low vision. I =
am assuming because I did not know that it was avail=3D able nor did I =
place an order for it from Byram that I will not be charged f=3D or it. =
I have not seen any communications from Tandem that this accessory is=3D =
now available but apparently it is.
Patricia.
