I am using the Omnipod 5 with the iOS app. I have been using it in = manual mode because it wasn't yet compatible with the Dexcom G7, = although they're promising that in a couple of weeks. When I switched to = the Omnipod in 2018, I didn't really think having a tubeless pump would = be a big deal, as I'd worn pumps with tubing since 1991. But now that = it's been 7 years, I have really come to lik not having the tubing. The = iOS app is also really accessible. Just like with the Mobi, there are a = few things that land in funny places on the screen, but it works well. = The other thing I like is that you don't have to use Face ID as many = times as you do with the Mobi. That is the one thing that is driving me = crazy with these pumps which are controlled by smart phone. Some days it = really makes me feel like diabetes runs my life because I wouldn't = normally use it. It seems like it just takes so long to get in, by the = time I try several times, then the phone jumps somewhere else when I'm = trying to enter the pass code, etc. With the Omnipod, you have to use = Face ID to get into the app, but not during any processes. I'm looking = forward to switching to automated mode in a couple of weeks. I think = it's fantastic that we actually have choices now.=20 Veronica

Thanks! It is a challenge getting it to be in just the right place.

BTW, I switched from the Omnipod to the Mobi a month ago and really like = =3D it. My educator showed it to me and asked me to consider it since she = =3D really likes its algorithm much better. Tandem has done an amazing job = =3D making it totally accessible for us. =3D20

FYI,
I received today from Byram Healthcare part of my order of Mobi insulin = =3D pump=3D3D supplies and found a surprise package included. It is a thin = =3D plastic device=3D3D that snaps on over the wireless charging pad and = has =3D an indentation which h=3D3D elps center the pump in the correct location = =3D for charging And helps keep it f=3D3D rom sliding. This device will be = =3D particularly helpful to people who are blin=3D3D d or have low vision. I = =3D am assuming because I did not know that it was avail=3D3D able nor did I = =3D place an order for it from Byram that I will not be charged f=3D3D or = it. =3D I have not seen any communications from Tandem that this accessory = is=3D3D =3D now available but apparently it is.
Patricia.
