Hi Shawn:

I believe this draft was sent in error and as you state, there is work to do. To the chapter, please disregard as this resolution is not yet final! There are some things that need to be worked on and reviewed first before it can move forward. I have spoken to the committee chair about this already. Thanks!

Hi Terri,

Sorry that I was not more clear, but I do not think that what I sent back to you is the final version. I guess I should have stated that specifically. You had asked for my input and I made some revisions, but said that I did not know where to go for certain after that point. I thought since you had been talking with others about this that you may have some of that info or would researched it and incorporated it into more whereas and resolves. Since you sent this out with no changes or comments, I wanted to make sure you know that I do not think this is a final version and that it needs more work. I do think the second version you had sent was better than the first version though. You incorporated comments I had made and so I thought you were going to do that with this last version too. If you want to work on some of the points I raised, you can make those changes and I can offer any feedback if I get a chance. I do have several things going on this coming week though, so my time is limited.

Thanks,

Shawn

Hi Terri,

Attached please find your volunteer resolution. You made some good changes. I have edited the first several whereas statements for your consideration. However I stopped at the whereas that talks about the policy being passed because when I read the policy I did not see exactly how the NFBI wants to address this exactly; more specifically I do not know exactly what IL is doing and have not seen any of the correspondence with the business classes. Also, is the resolve to then remove the former employee termination section or is there a different way of addressing it. I do not like the terminated employee restriction either, but what would be the justification the NFBI wants to use? I know to some extent what we want but I am unsure exactly how to word it.

Best,

Shawn
