NLS books don't offer page navigation, and neither do their magazines.
That is, even on a Stream you don't get a page navigation option when
playing an NLS book or magazine.

I have been working with the NLS player for a while and have few  
noughts on how it all works. For the nost part these are very good  
devices and while not offering page number navigation they are well  
built with a solid feel to them.

A few items that should get some attention:

There is a rather serious bug in DAISY 2.02 playback where the player  
can only remember to return to the start of the last heading you were  
in and not the current playback position. This bug seems to find its  
way into a number of player and playback software but I am unsure as  
to why this seems to be the case.

If you play  a DAISY/NISO z3986 book in the device it will report that  
there are two books even if there is but one on the media. This is not  
a bug deal but an odd thing for it to do.

Finally the device has a U.S. standard 120v power supply which is OK  
but in this modern age would it not be better to have a multi-voltage  
power supply that would require only a plug adapter rather than a  
transformer? Most modern computer and personal electronic equipment is  
so equipped and would make travel much simpler.
