Dear Members, Friends and Supporters:

Tobi, the open-source software developed by the DAISY Consortium, was 
demonstrated to the public for the first time at the DAISY2009 
Technical Conference in Leipzig, Germany.

Tobi is an extensible authoring tool for the production of full-text 
full-audio DAISY 3 content, and for creation of next-generation 
accessible multimedia. Presentation slides have been posted to the
