Yes the three different versions, mono, stereo and NLS 4 track mono are all listed on their website.
Because of limited demand they are made to order by the manufacturer.
The stereo and NLS 4 track versions would be very similar on the analog side
but would of course treat the 4 tracks differently once into the digital realm.
For stereo you would end up with two stereo files, each representing side 1 and side 2.
For NLS 4 track you would end up with 4 separate files, one for each of the four "sides".
No matter what tape format is being copied they all take the same time
to whiz a tape through the Digitiser.
But of course with NLS 4 track, instead of converting 90 minutes per tape
you are converting 360 minutes worth.
With NLS 4 track, any high speed duplication was always 4 times faster.
And so it only used 1/4 as many:
*cassettes
*cassette labels
*cassette boxes
*cassette box labels
*mailing containers,
*storage space etc.
Strange how anyone could refer to NLS 4 track as not "cost effective"
when it was 4 times more cost effective than standard cassette.
It was like the mp3 of its day.
