Works like a champ! The thing you'll notice immediately upon updating your
NLS player is that if your cartridge/USB thumb drive has multiple books,
they'll be in alphabetical sort order rather than in the order they were
added to the cartridge/USB thumb drive, much as the VRStream or BookSense
has them.

digital Talking Book Machines, a new version was released on October 24,
2011. The version number is 2.1.7.
