Hello, everyone.
Do any of you have digital recordings of the following two NLS talking
books? Both were recorded at 16 and 2/3 rpm. One is Walter Lord's Incredible
Victory (it's about the Battle of Midway); the other is Robert Conot's
Rivers of Blood, Years of Darkness; it's about what led up to the Watts
riots and is the best, most balanced presentation I've ever read. Lord's
book was read by John Cannon and was recorded in 1970 or so, I think
(haven't looked at the catalog). Conot's book was read by Robert Donley and
came out in 1968, I think. I haven't been able to come up with accessible
copies of either of these books.
T I A!
