[Dtb-talk] NLS Downloads, Windows 7 and NVDA Help

I am pretty green with Win7 and NVDA. I am having a heck of a time knowing if I am downloading books from the NLS site.

I understand that when I select download on a title, a window pops up with the typical download-to, etc. I thought that control-C was to get me to this window where I could choose save and the download would begin. This is not occurring reliably. Sometimes I see that window and sometimes not; sometimes I get the download anyway and sometimes not. I am probably so confused I am trying too many things to know what I am doing that is or is not working.

Any walk-through of this process will be most appreciated. I am coming from WinXP and JAWS for the last hundred years.
