Mike,
I am not sure whether the book manager can be bypassed, but in fact, I think
it is a useful download utility for Learning Ally materials. They have a new
version that I believe works quite a bit better than what they use to
provide. Perhaps others will speak to it more given that my experience with
it is pretty limited so far.

Subject: [Dtb-talk] learning ally is there a trick to it?
Hi everybody,
I'd like to download some stuff from Learning Ally's web site. When I go to
download something, it opens a new window and there's some book manager
program or something that needs to be downloaded. Is there ar eason why we
can't download them like we would an NLS book and then put it in the DTB
folder on the Stream? Is there a trick or shortcut that I'm missing?
Thanks.
Mike
