[Dtb-talk] learning ally is there a trick to it?

You have to use their download manager. You can't download it like an NLS book.
At least not with the old system. As for the new system, it looks
more like a web-managed sort of thing when I briefly took a look at
it. I decided to go the route of the RFBD download manager since I
don't see myself downloading much from Learning Ally now that I'm out
of higher ed.
