The Book Port Plus and the Plextalk Pocket are physically identical. The software they run is somewhat different -- although it is more the same than different. It has been a while since I compared the two -- a couple years, and as I recall one thing was how you navigate books. As I recall with the BP Plus you use 3 keys, like 1 2 and 3 to navigate by the previous, current or next unit. The row of keys you choose determines the unit, that is 1 2 and 3 do something, 4 5 and 6 by another unit greater than previous unit.

I am sure there are other differences, just don't recall off top of my head.

Dave

Subject: [Dtb-talk] Bookport VS PlexTalk Pocket?

Am I correct in my understanding that the BookPort is the same as the PlexTalk Pocket?

If so are there substantial differences in the software and what might some of those be?

Thanks for any enlightenment.

Dale Leavens.
