Hi Mike,
Check out the EyePal Reader and the EyePal Solo at: www.ABiSee.com. I tried
out the Solo and was quite impressed. I have a Reader on order. The
descriptions of these products says the keypads are optional but they are
included in the price. The manuals are available at the support link. The
two items do not require a computer.

Subject: [Dtb-talk] camera scanners
Hi everybody,
I seem to remember awhile back hearing about a camera that does what a
flatbed scanner does. I'd really like one of these gizmos because it seems
like it'd be easier and less time-consuming to scan a book. It'd especially
come in handy with books that are 600 pages or more whether hardback or
paperback. Does anyone out there have such a camera? Does Humanware, etc.
make something like this?
Thanks.
Mike
