If you have the Soft Pack for the original Stream, you already have a key to
use Audible.  The question for those with the original Stream but no Soft
Pack is whether keys are available.  The only way to know for sure would be
to contact either HumanWare or Audible.

In truth, how would we know? My initial opinion would be "no"; the two units
are different and, I believe, use different processors.

I took a look at Humanware's site and they're coming out with a software
release near the end of this month so the new Stream will be able to play
audible.com books. Will this new update work for those of us with the
previous model? I woudl think so considering the new Stream is pretty much
the same except it's sleeker and has new voices and is wifi.
