Yes, they do take donations. They also accept books that people scan. If you look at their site, they tell you how to do it. Since I'm on the NLS collection development committee, if you have suggestions, please send them to me.

I was wondering how we get books onto bookshare. I know that NLS takes suggestions from folks. Does bookshare have something similar? Or do they do books that people send them? I ask because I notice that sometimes there's more than one copy of a book.
 
If books are gotten on there by donation, I'd love to know how to donate because I've got several print books that I wouldn't mind donating regardless of whether that would create a duplicate title.
