[Dtb-talk] BARD AND IPHONE FIVE

I have experienced neither problem although I know of one instance wherein a
person had BARD Mobile problems (although I don't believe it was the result
of an upgrade).
As for the voice quality, are you using the "compact voice" or the
high-quality voice?
Also, I once experienced a few hours wherein the voice got kind of raggedy
-- as if I'd stuck something accidentally in the iPhone 5 speaker. In fact,
I thought I had. But leaving the iPhone idle for some time while plugged in
seemed to have solved the problem.
Also, during this year's Washington Seminar, my iPhone 5 stopped talking for
a while. I did everything I could think of short of zapping everything and
starting from scratch. Eventually, the thing came back to life. It seemed to
involve plugging in and unplugging the earphone. It wasn't a hardware
problem, either, as the situation eventually cleared up. It seemed to be a
software setting that had gone awry somehow.
I'd take a look at www.applevis.com -- this is an excellent resource -- and
do a bit of searching. I may do this myself this evening as you've got my
curiosity up.
