The $90 screen reader you get from AT&T is Mobile Speak. It is fine.
However, don't trust anything you hear from their disability center. Some
reps seem to know what they are talking about, but most do not. Double
check everything they tell you. It appears they are just not trained very
well at all.

 Here's their website:

Subject: [Electronics-talk] talking att cell w/o plan

hi,

does anyone know how to negotiate a deal where you will be able to read/send
text messages with speech without paying a monthly plan fee?
i have the motorola c139 go phone on ATT for emergencies/confirming client
appointments, etc and don't have the need or want the charge of $40+ per
month.

Plus does someone have the number for att disability relations and has
someone been happy with that $90 program?
thanks.
