Hello All,
I would like to apologize for sending this to the list. It was
obviously meant for someone off list.

Hi Matt,
Some items I pulled from Dean Martineau's newsletter over the last year.
Some or all of these may not be valid any longer, but figured I would
send any way.

SeroTalk Tech Chat 7 focuses on Cell Phone Models, Features and Third
Party Software, and the site gives good links to sources for further
information

-features-and-third-party-software/

In a different presentation, SeroTalk Podcast 9 Discusses Cell Phone
Screen Readers and Software also.

LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired offers an Accessible Cell
Phone Seminar on Tuesday, 24 March, with panel presentations from
17:00-19:00 GMT. People throughout the world can take part via telephone
conference call or online. To do either, write for instructions to
info at lighthouse-sf.org

There is a new "community," part of Live Journal, where blind users can
ask questions about accessible mobile phones and software.

Thanks to the Blind Bargains mailing list, we learn about Mobile Space,
a blog oriented toward users of accessible cell phones, particularly
those using the Symbian operating system.

A new, announce-only, low-traffic mailing list has been created to keep
people informed about new developments regarding accessible cell phones.
To join, send a blank message to:
information-subscribe at blindphones.info

Lots of reviews of portable devices appear in the July, 2007 issue of
AccessWorld. Besides an article on blind students using technology,
there are reviews of the Icon, Mobile and Zooms cell phone magnifiers
and Mobile speak Smartphone.

Hello Everyone:

Firstly, please forgive me if this is off topic. I have recently
purchased a Nokia 6210 Navigator through my cell provider, and am
browsing the internet for a comprehensive review of Nuance Talks and
Mobile Speak. I don't really see what the difference is between the two
products. So, if anyone has any feedback about one product over the
other, please let me know. Additionally, if anyone has any good links
to product comparisons, podcasts, etc... please send that along as well.

Thank You,

Matt
