the computer programs print the checks to conform to the standard
specifications and there are places to fill in the necessary routing
information on the computer generated checks. The routing numbers for the
banks are public record information and are available on the Internet. Many
businesses will use computer programs to generate their own checks so there
is a definite uniformity of the process.
